Just had to throw a shout-out to one of my favorite, and totally insane, sample developers - Alessandro Romeo.

This guy is bonkers, in a good way. He tortures and mangles cellos, violins, pianos, scrap metals, and anything else he can get his hands on. Absolutely wild and over-the-top strings scrapes, jete-dive-bombs, and jump-scares, as well as haunting drones, distant whistles, and mournful moans. Great stuff.

I used them all over the SAW scores and a bunch of similarly scary scores. Check 'em out. I'm a fan.
